Licensing options for NexusCore

NexusCore is available with three license options:

  • Forever free (maximum 5 accounts with .NET Core, No support)
  • Yearly VPS License (only for VPS servers)
  • Yearly Dedicated server License (only for dedicated servers)

The forever free license is available for everyone, and is included with the download of NexusCore. It limits your usage to a maximum of 5 hosting accounts, perfect for evaluation or for a development server. Our commercial licenses are yearly licenses that need to be renewed to continue working.

DEDICATED SERVER

I don't know whether I'm on VPS or a dedicated server.

If you don’t know whether you are on a VPS or a dedicated server you can simply run the following shell command on your CentOS or CloudLinux server.

virt-what

If you get a blank line, this means you are on a dedicated server. If you get a text-response (e.g. VMWare, Xen, or something else) this means you are on a VPS.

(above is an example of a server running as VPS)
