Will NexusCore work with my cPanel server?

NexusCore is compatible with any cPanel+WHM server with v74.0 or higher, so it is compatible out of the box with all systems running these versions. NexusCore allows you to offer .NET Core on CentOS, RHEL and CloudLinux, whether you are using Apache or Litespeed. For more information on compatibility check our compatibility information.

How hard is it to set up .NET Core?

In order to set up .NET Core on your shared hosting server a lot of work needs to be done. NexusCore takes all the work off your hands by means of one single plugin. This plugin is a drop-in extension to cPanel+WHM. Install the plugin, create your hosting package like you would normally do and create your first hosting package. It is that easy!

What if my clients ask me questions about .NET?

.NET Core is different than PHP hosting, and your new clients might have questions about deploying their application, connecting their application to (an optional) SQL Server database. We offer guides in their cPanel environment, or you can redirect these users to our slack channel and let us answer the difficult questions for you.

How does licensing work?

NexusCore has two licensing options: free and premium. Free licenses have a single limitation: you can only host a maximum of 5 cPanel accounts. Premium licenses don’t have this limitation. We offer support to both free and premium licenses, and there are no other differences.
